Gossip Girl Episode 14 The Blair Bitch Project - Discussion

So what did you think about the show tonight? To me it’s just getting better with every episode.
The Blair Bitch Project starts up 3 weeks after Blair’s dethroning as “Queen B” by Jenny Humphrey. Jenny is now hanging out with all Blair’s old friends trying to fit in and fool them into thinking she’s rich. She even steals a dress out of one of the snobby girls house so that she can sell it and get hot party dress at this consignment store. Turns out the dress is a $50,000 Valentino and the dress she traded it for was worth about $1200.
What really broke my heart about this part of the plot was how disappointed and hurt Rufus was in Jenny. I hated the way she treated him and I hope she gets hers soon. Little brat.
Meanwhile Serena has her own problems. She keeps getting all these nasty anonymous gifts and blames Chuck for them. This get Chuck into big trouble with Bart and he’s accused of trying to sabotage Lily and Bart’s wedding. Of course, the gifts weren’t from Chuck but from someone with the initial “G”. Hmmm..wonder who that could be?
I’m really looking forward to seeing how this power struggle between Blair and Jenny goes. Jenny is young and she needs to learn her lesson. Blair is the Queen B and that’s just how it’s supposed to be. Jenny doesn’t stand a chance against Blair.
As for the guys? Well, Nate was just as boring as ever. Chuck was hot as usual. Rufus is such a gorgeous hunk of many man. Yum. Eric needs a new hair style. Badly. Dan was cute but leaning on the boring side this episode too.
And where was Vanessa?

hey. nice short review and commentary. i do commentary on each GG episode on my site. check it out! anyway, i agreed with pretty much everything you said… good work. i love chuck and hope to see he and blair reconnect soon. jenny needs to be punished or something, how f’ed up was her behavior. serena is going to have a lot of handle in the upcoming episodes it looks like with that georgina sparks. ;) http://www.eyeslikealeopard.com

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing about Vanessa. The video clip preview that I posted earlier today, showed a scene with Vanessa, Dan and Nate (so Vanessa and Nate meeting). I wonder when we’ll see that?? Must be the next episode, I guess.

OK PEOPLE I HAVE SOME STUFF I NEED TO GET OFF MY CHEST ABOUT THIS SHOW. OK LOOK I KNOW ITS JUST A SHOW!!! BUT DAMN IM ALREADY EMOTIONALY INVESTD IN THIS SHOW…SAD RIGHT? NE WAYZ…I CERTAINLY DONT WANT NATE AND VANESSA TOGETHER, I THINK HE’S TOO GOOD FOR HER. AND AS FAR AS THE GEORGINA/SERENA/DAN MESS?! WTFFF??? IS RIGHT BECAUSE DAMN THIS HAS GOT TO BE SOME DREAM OR SOMETHING I DONT WANT DAN AND G TOGETHER…SHE’S NO GOOD FOR HIM! I HOPE WHATEVER G HAS GOT ON S…. OMG, I love this show even more! But Jenny is such a tomato (like Nate is a potato - a litte CW-Lounge-Insider;))! I hate her for hurting her lovely dad (come to me, sexy Rufus!!!) and she will never be the new Queen Bee. The true bitch - Blair;)) is back! I wish new Chair-Scenes! Chuck was so lovely and sensitive *awww* I’m in love!
And feel you the chemestry between Blair and Rufus *looool* Awww, I am a Blufus-Fan from the first second of the show *lol* But ok, Blair belongs to Chuckie:)

Blair is awesome. I love her character. And Chuck is growing on me more and more every episode. Nate should just sit there and look cute. :) Im such a fan of Chair. I like how Serena really is a good friend and understands Blair. Vanessa and Jenny are annoying.

welll here goes…my thought on last nights show…
jenny is a BITCH. yes blair was too, but i think that blair deserves to be one because that’s what she’s known for. her bitchiness! so, i got really mad when blair was alone in the restraunt. but at the birthday party, i was cheering for blair. jenny needs to accept who she is. i felt so sorry for rufus when he and jenny were fighting. he was right and she was wrong! i also felt that jenny had no right to be relying on nate and using him to get back at blair. it was BLAIR’S party at butter and she had no right to go there and steal her friends back. serena and dan r still cute and i actually felt sorry for chuck. simply, i like blair and nate together, dan and serena together, and i half like chuck. i hate jenny though!

nate and blair have no chemistry, so why would you want them together? blair HAS the chemistry with CHUCK– not nate.

Turth is, Jenny will never fit in with the crowd as she wants to. She will always be the one left out. Yes she has the same attitude regarding the snobby-ness but as the spending wise, thats a big blow for her as she can’t realy afford it..therefore stealing and then trying to ask for money.
Blair on the other hand was expected to be bitchy so I enjoyed every moment that Little J suffered. She deserved it.
On another note, I can’t wait till Georgina arrives. She is gonna be trouble and I love the sound of that =]

I am a HUGE Blair fan, so i thought the episode was depressing, but i cant wait for Blair to claw her way back up to the top. I was angry because it showed nothing with any of the Blair/Chuck or Blair/Nate relationships. Other then that the episode was AMAZING, and i will most likily watch it five more times!
