Gossip Girl originated from the novels written by Cecily von Ziegesar. The series is about a group of young teenagers growing up on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and how they deal with sex, relationships, friends, drugs, and other teenage issues. The show is called Gossip Girl because each episode is narrated by an unseen character “Gossip Girl”. The series premiered in 2007 with 18 episodes. Gossip Girl Season 3 returns on 9/15/2009.
